Master in Leadership - awards

• Double degree: Master of Arts - German award + British award

The HIM is state recognized as a university of applied sciences and is approved by The Open University as an appropriate organisation to offer higher education programmes leading to Open University Validated Awards. The programme gained a double accreditation by the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA) and by The Open University (OU) in the United Kingdom.

The programme is delivered in full-time mode over four semesters. It has a credit value of 120 ECTS. Following successful completion of the programme you will be conferred 2 university degrees: you attain the German degree of a Master of Arts in International Leadership & Communication awarded by the HIM and at the same time a British Master of Arts degree conferred by The Open University. For the British award, you do not have to complete any studies at The Open University, although you have the option of undertaking the fourth semester of the programme at a university abroad. OU validated awards have parity of esteem with the awards offered throughout UK higher education, so a validated award is exactly the same as an OU direct award in terms of employment and application for postgraduate study.
